Beginner Levels

A1 – German for Starters

Understand and use everyday expressions and basic phrases.
Introduce yourself and interact in simple conversations.
Topics: greetings, family, shopping, travel basics.

A2 – Elementary German

Communicate in routine tasks requiring simple exchanges.
Describe background, immediate environment, and basic needs.

Intermediate Levels

B1 – Independent User

Understand the main points of clear standard input (work, school, leisure).
Deal with most situations while traveling in German-speaking regions.
Express opinions, narrate experiences, describe events.
Topics: workplace, studies, media, social life.

B2 – Upper-Intermediate

Understand complex texts and technical discussions.
Interact fluently and spontaneously with native speakers.
Write clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects.
Topics: workplace communication, cultural discussions, debates.

Advanced Levels

C1 – Advanced German

Understand a wide range of demanding texts and recognize implicit meaning.
Express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much searching.
Use German flexibly for academic, professional, and social purposes.
Topics: business presentations, academic writing, professional discussions.

C2 – Proficiency in German

Near-native mastery of German language.
Understand virtually everything heard or read.
Summarize information from different spoken/written sources.
Express yourself very fluently, precisely, and naturally.
